Today was my first day working in the orphanage. It is evident that there are a ton of kids and not many adults to give the the love, attention, and supervision they need. Today I worked mostly with babies and toddlers up to the age of 4. A one month old was was taken from her home by the government and dropped off at Love in Action yesterday. There are many needs and the boys are starting to not get along and cause problems in the orpahnage. They still are working on getting the Hope House for the boys and waiting for a check to come in July to help pay for it. There is someone to take care of the boys and babies but not the girls, so that is what I will be doing!! They all are very sweet and love to be loved on. Today we played music.. (one song over and over again that they really liked), and did a craft. Lunch is the absolute craziest part of the day. There needs to be more orginanization and order but there is not enough people to help out. It breaks my heart to see some of the kids with special needs rejected and pushed aside while the other kids play. I can’t wait to take some pictures so that you can see how adorable these kids are. Thank you for all of your prayers.
